How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin. -- President Ronald Reagan

THE STORYLINE goes something like this: America’s onetime popularity in the world was squandered by George W. Bush, whose belligerence and unilateralism after Sept. 11, 2001, alienated allies and engendered widespread anti-Americanism. But now, with the election of Barack Obama, America can restore its good name and regain the world’s goodwill.
One vigorous exponent of this narrative has been Obama himself. “The single most important issue that we’re facing in this election,” he said during the campaign, is choosing a leader “to repair all the damage that’s been done to America’s reputation overseas.” When I become president, he often told voters, “the world will look at America differently.”
Sure enough, much of the international reaction to Obama’s election has been ecstatic. “Legions of jubilant supporters set off firecrackers in El Salvador, danced in Liberia, and drank shots in Japan,” the Los Angeles Times reported. Kenya declared a national holiday. South Africa’s Archbishop Desmond Tutu exulted: “We have a new spring in our walk and our shoulders are straighter.” The Sun, Britain’s most popular newspaper, headlined its story “One Giant Leap for Mankind.”
For Obama, such worldwide jubilation must be gratifying. He should take it all with a healthy shake of salt, however. Because it isn’t going to last.
EMFK: The Obama love fest will last as long as the other countries believe America is being weakened and towing the line of the world. The moment he strays from the beaten path—watch out!
Monday morning is almost here and ABC News and other news outlets are again going after the ‘Troopergate’ issue. We’re going to layout all the information you need about the players, issues, and the real story.
Major Players in Troopergate
Mike Wooten: ex-brother in law of Sarah Palin, current Alaskan State Trooper, ex-husband of Molly McCann, and former stepfather of McCann’s son.
Walt Monegan: Former Commissioner of Public Safety who resigned. He was NOT FIRED as reported by the media, but was offered an alternative job and chose not to take it.
Monegan Quote: “For the record, no one ever said fire Wooten. Not the governor. Not Todd. Not any of the other staff,” Monegan said Friday from Portland. “What they said directly was more along the lines of ‘This isn’t a person that we would want to be representing our state troopers.’

How does Monegan treat women? Let his ex-wife Georgene Moldovan tell you:
Moldovan said she sought a restraining order against Monegan in 1994 after he threatened to kill her, waved a gun at her, and knocked her shoulder out of socket, according to court papers. The court papers say, “He pulled out his gun and waved it at me outside my home and yelled he would kill me if I stopped him.”
Moldovan told the SF Chronicle that Monegan “would show up unannounced and break into my apartment and do threatening things. I was forced to get a restraining order because I was really fearful he was going to harm me.” She said he also threatened to throw her body into a cold, Alaskan river. Monegan, for his part, said his ex-wife was telling “either half-truths or pure fabrications.”
Hollis French II: Obama supporter. Democratic state Senator that was overseeing the ‘Troopergate’ investigation. His father, Bob French, is a county commissioner in Summit County, Colorado.
Even French Himself Acknowledged That He Has Stepped Out Of Bounds. “French today acknowledged that some of his public comments about the ongoing probe may have been out of bounds. ‘I said some things I shouldn’t have said,’ he told Newsweek. But he insisted he had no intention of stepping down…” (Michael Isikoff and Mark Hosenball, “Team McCain And The Trooper, Newsweek, 9/5/08)
French: “I should have had my project director hat screwed on more tightly and kept my mouth shut.” (”All White Noise,” The Associated Press, 9/10/08)
Steven Branchflower: Is The Special Counsel Appointed To Review The Dismissal Of Former Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan.
Steven Branchflower’s wife is also a conflict of interest in this story. Check it out here. She was a detective working with Monegan.
What is the problem with Branchflower’s involvement?
Branchflower And Walt Monegan Were Colleagues.
“French will supervise Branchflower. French, also a former prosecutor and colleague of Branchflower, has told the council that the investigator will go to work gathering evidence and could come back to lawmakers if ’some people just won’t talk.’ The House and Senate Judiciary Committees could then issue subpoenas to compel testimony.” (Megan Holland, “Branchflower Will Investigate Monegan Case,” Anchorage Daily News, 8/2/08)
Kim Elton: Chairman Of Alaska’s Legislative Council and refused Republican John Coghill’s request to remove Hollis French as the overseer of the Monegan Investigation. He denied Coghill.
The Alaskan Democrats aren’t done here. They gave money to Barack Obama and supported his campaign. All the while, they were members or connected to the Troopergate scandal in some fashion.
The Real Story
The Alaskan state Troopers kept the majority of this story among themselves until Sarah Palin was nominated as John McCain’s VP.
Mike Wooten, for all the drama, continues to be a Trooper. Even after being reprimanded for illegally moose hunting under someone else’s permit, alcohol related incidences which was investigated in the Grimes Investigation , and of course—tasering his 11 year old stepson.
All of the incidences with Mike Wooten were before Sarah Palin was governor.
On October 10, 2008, the Alaska Legislative Council unanimously voted to release the Branchflower investigative report, which implicated Palin of violating the public trust through abuse of power. On November 3, 2008, the day before Election Day, the Alaska State Personnel Board released the findings of its probe, which cleared Palin of violating ethics laws. These two investigations provided contradictory conclusions.

Keep in mind the members of the Alaska Legislative Council and their connections to Democratic members mentioned above.
And because Sarah Palin was trying to clean up Alaska politics and tapped to be Vice President, both the left and unprincipled Republicans worked overtime to trash her reputation. However, there is a reason why so many Alaskans on both sides love her.
Sarah Palin will emerge from this overblown and Democratic outrage to maintaining being one of America’s most popular governors. If you read the newspapers in the rest of America, Sarah Palin has been trashed by Americans that do not really know her or Alaskans.
We’re proud of our Sarah and if she chooses to run again; it will be on her terms and not at the request of someone else. She has a lot to offer this country and unfortunately, too many political foes know this and continue to trash and degrade her good name.

Anyone would think we had just elected a hip, skinny and youthful replacement for God, with a plan to modernise Heaven and Hell – or that at the very least John Lennon had come back from the dead.
The swooning frenzy over the choice of Barack Obama as President of the United States must be one of the most absurd waves of self-deception and swirling fantasy ever to sweep through an advanced civilisation. At least Mandela-worship – its nearest equivalent – is focused on a man who actually did something.
I really don’t see how the Obama devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts.
EMFK: Peter Hitchens is the brother of Christopher Hitchens. He’s an intelligent writer who is quite opposite of his brothers in many political ways. At least we know others around the world aren’t quite taken with Obama either. Luckily, he’s not going to be their President.
Browsing The Corner, Kathryn Jean Lopez suggests that Michael Steele is a favorite to become the next RNC Chair. Also a possibility is Newt Gingrich, but EMFK is still ticked about his Global Warming drama with Nancy Pelosi.
Michael Steele would be a refreshing addition to the RNC Chair. After taking a non-scientific poll of our friends, very few could recall the current RNC Chair’s name. Sad, but true.
The effectiveness and ability to get the Republican Party’s message to the people begins this post election season with a competent, intelligent, and no-nonsense RNC Chair.
EMFK would welcome Michael Steele to that position, but again no one is commenting. A huge disaster for conservatives might be Mitt Romney, but again this is a non-scientific poll of friends who don’t like being called at 8AM to answer such important questions. Oops.
Don’t mind us—we’re upgrading the blog. We’ll re-add all the links you enjoyed before. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
EMFK
Barack Obama is currently President-elect of the United States. He has managed to reach this point without truly being vetted by the US media and the American people. On a particular interesting note, he has also managed to not answer any questions surrounding his birth certificate or adoption papers. If he was adopted by Indonesian citizen Lolo Soetoro, where is his Oath of Allegiance?
Several bloggers have tried to discuss this case, but we feel none of them are to the level of understanding as Texas Darlin’ or NoQuarter’s blog. The former being more involved than the latter. Also of particular note, Phil Berg has been supported by EMFKs friends, MommaE, ChileMan, and ChileWoman. The Chiles information will remain in confidentiality as it isn’t the business of the media. Why continue to vet people when you haven’t even vetted the President-elect of this country?
Important dates to watch:
November 10 - We The People Foundation will release an Ad in the USA Today regarding this very topic and in support of Phil J. Berg, the man behind Berg v Obama. It will actually run the entire week of November 10th.
November 17th - Phil Berg & Robert L. Schulz (Founder & Chairman of WTP) will hold a press briefing at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
November 18th - Andy Martin’s case: Martin v Obama will be heard on this date in Honolulu, Hawaii.
December 1st - Barack Obama has until this day to release his original long birth certificate from “vault” (located in Honolulu, Hawaii) to the court.
If or when this occurs, Phil Berg will then have to submit a response.
December 15th (or perhaps 13th), the Electoral College meets to vote for the next President of the United States.
January 6th, 2009 - The new Congress will be sworn in. The Democrats obviously have a comfortable majority, but it will not be available to have a say about this birth certificate drama.
In the meantime, SHOULD the SCOTUS find that Barack Obama isn’t eligible—those who knew this fraud will deserve punishment and the Democrats will pay a heavy price.

EMFK: McCain and Romney supporters who are trashing Sarah behind the scenes—take notice of Rev. Manning. He defends Sarah Palin against Carl Cameron and Bill O’Reilly. Shame on you Fox and the cowards that keep attacking Sarah behind the scenes.

EMFK: We have taken a few days off, but some things never change. Another day, another Obama gaffe. Insulting Nancy Reagan isn’t going to score you many friends. He eventually apologized, but he’s too stupid to realize that Hillary Clinton was the one channeling Eleanor Roosevelt and not Nancy Reagan.
